Murphy is a 1 year old male Jack Russell Terrier Cross. He is looking for a new home due to his owner’s ill health.
Murphy is a wonderful little dog, he is full of personality and loves to play with toys. Since he was a puppy Murphy has lived alone with a single male and has never really been left on his own.
Due to this he can form strong attachments and may panic when he is left alone. Murphy is house trained and non-destructive. Murphy can be vocal at times – particularly towards noise disruption such as the doorbell ringing. He may also bark at strangers/other dogs on walks but is friendly when he is allowed to greet them.
Murphy will need some help with building his confidence to be left alone and will require ongoing training with this. Murphy is in good health. We are looking for a home for Murphy with someone around for most of the day as he is not used to being left alone. An active home would also suit him best as he enjoys his walks.
We feel that he would benefit from living with another dog but has never been around cats. Murphy is friendly with visiting children but as he has never lived with children we are looking for a home where any children are aged 12+. Please note that Murphy is currently on our waiting list and is being rehomed from home so is not at the kennels.
