2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross available for adoption

Amber is a 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. She is looking for a pet free forever home and any children living in the home must be aged 8+.

Amber is from the pound and we have no known history of her. She was picked up as a stray off the streets, injured and underweight. She was rehomed last year but has sadly been returned and she is looking for another forever home.

Amber has lived a hard life so far, she is a lovely girl and we can’t understand why she is being overlooked. She loves her cuddles and snuggling under blankets.

She can cope being alone for a few hours but would really love a home where someone is around most of the time.

For further details regarding adopting a dog from Staffie and Stray Rescue, based in Bournemouth in Dorset, please email staffiesrescue@gmail.com or visit the website www.staffieandstrayrescue.co.uk

The aim of this non-profit organisation is to find foster homes and permanent homes for dogs in need of a new home. They take on dogs whose owners are no longer able to look after them due to unforeseen circumstances.

Staffie and Stray Rescue are also in the process of developing a campaign to help change people’s negative attitudes towards Staffordshire bull terriers, who are often portrayed as dangerous dogs in the media. With 75% of stray dogs being Staffordshire bull terriers, they hope to encourage more people to rehome the breed.
