Rocky is a 5 month old male Cross-Breed. He has a beautiful coat in a lovely Cinder Merle coloring. He was born in April this year. Rocky is growing fast and looks set to be similar in size to a German Shepherd Dog. He is needing a new home due to his owner’s injuries caused by a fall.
Rocky is a beautiful young dog to live with, and walk. But he is high energy and needs lots of attention to entertain his keen mind and active body, without overdoing the exercise, and plenty of ongoing training. So completely unsuited to couch potato types. He has been clean indoors, has not been destructive, but is tall enough to counter surf.
Rocky travels well in the car. He has even been out for lunch in a local cafe and settled down very nicely under the table. He is a typical adolescent and loves to charge around a play with his pals, enjoying rough and tumble games with those who want to, however he can also be gentle too, but sometimes needs reminding to tone it down with small dogs.
Rocky loves people, and he is good with children, though a little bit like Tigger at first.
He regularly plays beautifully with my grandchildren of 6 and 11. He is a very versatile dog, he is suitable for a family, but he going to be a decent size and needs space, so a spacious home with a decent sized garden, and easy access to good dog walking is essential. He would love to live with another dog or dogs.
Rocky is currently living the life of Riley with the team at Lizzie’s Barn Sanctuary near Kidwelly, South West Wales.
