8 month old male Labrador cross Lurcher available for adoption

Ben is an 8 month old male Labrador cross Lurcher. He came to WAW as a tiny puppy, whilst all his siblings found loving homes, Ben had some health issue, he started going blind and needed an operation. Ben has now had his eye operation and back to being the loveable, lively puppy he was and now he is looking for his forever home.

Ben is a typical puppy; he is always on the go and loves playing, he loves his ball and soft toys, and he is also great with kids and the other dogs he is living with.

Sadly, due to his poor start, Ben does also have diabetes, which means he will need daily injections of insulin for the rest of his life, but please don’t let you put you off. His foster dad is fine doing them, and Ben is a good boy and doesn’t mind. He is also still seeing the eye specialist and will need to attend appointments for check-ups, he also needs eye drops. We will happily discuss all this with you.

Ben is housetrained, he does have a few accidents due to his age and diabetes and he knows his basic commands. Ben loves his walk, he still pulls on the lead and can be l uncomfortable with strangers coming up to him for a stroke due to the eyesight going and then getting it back again, but he is getting better but will just need more time and support from his new family.
