9 month old male Saluki Cross available for adoption

Scar is a 9 month old male Saluki Cross. He is currently in Oman. He was rescued from the streets with his five siblings by a kind lady who had been feeding and looking out for them since they were tiny.

The streets are not safe for friendly dogs so she found them a temporary shelter where they are currently at. Scar is about 27kg, he is good with cats and good with other dogs – he will greet them with a friendly sniff and tail wag.

He’s a bit nervous when meeting new people but once he knows you, he is really sweet and cuddly and loves a belly rub! He enjoys going out for walks and doesn’t pull too much on the lead.

He hasn’t had much experience of the wider world so his new home will have to be patient and give him time to find his feet before taking him on adventures.

But no doubt he will love them once he’s settled. Scar doesn’t have any experience around children so he would be better to go to a home with older dog savvy children.

Please note as Scar is in Oman, it would take 3-4 months to prepare him for travel to the UK.

All dogs rehomed via this rescue will be vaccinated, neutered/spayed and microchipped. Home checks apply and full post adoption support is offered.

Our dogs are rescued from the streets of Oman where they live terrible lives, often suffering abuse, starvation, fatal car accidents and victims of shootings.

They’re primarily wadi dogs, a type of mixed breed sighthound and make wonderful pets. They’re incredibly loyal, loving and intelligent.
