Niki Lauda – Age, Net Worth and Social Influencer Profiles

Niki Lauda was one of the most successful racing drivers of all time. He won three Formula One World Championships, and is considered one of the greatest drivers in the history of the sport.

Lauda began his career in racing in 1968, driving for March in Formula Three. He quickly made a name for himself, winning races and impressing the team bosses. In 1971, he made his debut in Formula One with March, but it was not a successful season.

The following year, Lauda joined Ferrari and immediately made an impact. He won his first race for the team, and went on to win five more races that season. He scored Ferrari’s first victory in over two years at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Lauda’s successes continued in 1974, as he won the World Championship. He also won the Monaco Grand Prix, considered to be one of the most difficult races in Formula One.

Tragically, Lauda was involved in a horrific crash at the German Grand Prix that year. His car caught fire, and he suffered severe burns. Miraculously, he recovered quickly and was able to return to racing just six weeks later.

Lauda went on to win two more World Championships, in 1977 and 1984. He retired from racing in 1985, but remained active in the sport as a television commentator and advisor to Ferrari.

Niki Lauda passed away on May 20th, 2019, at the age of 70. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest racing drivers of all time.
